After many years of experience alongside his father Domenico, in 1992 Antonino, whose family had been involved in agriculture for at least a century, decided to turn the family conventional farm into an organic one.
It was the natural route of a path started with his family whose cultivation philosophy and guidelines were already totally centred on natural growing methods. In the same years he established Mediterranea Foods to introduce his organic productions in the organic market.
At the beginning the company pioneered the organic scenario with its own production of organic extra virgin olive oil, that represents still today its core business, and after more than 20 years of experience in the organic world, the company represents today an expertize in Mediterranean organic specialties coming only from Italian cultivations. Mediterranea Foods is today an important organic trading company that produces and supplies 100% organic food covering the entire route from producer to customer.
